Hey guys! I am so excited to talk about some of my favorite beauty products I’ve discovered so far this month. For years and years, I have used the same makeup and beauty products and they’ve worked great for me. However, as I’m getting older my skin is starting to change which means it’s time to start testing out some new products for my skin. Plus it’s always fun to try new stuff and switch it up, right??
Let’s get into 3 of my favorite beauty products for November!
I’ve used bareMinerals original foundation for over 10 years. Literally since middle school. It’s always worked for me until recently. I’ve been in the market for a new foundation for a while and have tested COUNTLESS foundations. High-end and drugstore, none have worked for me.
My makeup artist and dear friend, Debbie, uses the MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra HD foundation on me for my photoshoots and I finally decided to buy my own bottle. Maybe my best decision of November so far. It blends so nicely and smoothes the complexion so well. I have several little dark spots that I used to cover with concealer, but the MAKE UP FOR EVER hides all of the little spots on its own. For every day I usually apply 1.5 pumps, but if I need extra coverage for filming or such, 2.5-3 pumps will give a really nice full coverage look without looking like a cakeface.
If you’re looking for a foundation that is liquid gold, I highly suggest going into Sephora and trying this. They use a device to match your exact skintone perfectly with the shade you need. You don’t have to play any guessing games with choosing a bottle and hoping it works. The bottle is $43, but totally worth it for the amount you’re getting and the quality of the product.
Hydrated clear skin makes my world go round. I’ve heard amazing things about this toner for about a year now and decided to finally test it out. I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks now and am really loving it so far. Toners can tend to sting and be drying on the skin, but the Glow Tonic does neither. It’s formulated with aloe vera and ginseng so it’s very hydrating and refreshing on the skin. The glycolic acid also helps with exfoliation of dead skin cells – major plus. And the smell is so so good, guys. You can grab this stuff at Target for $15 or online here!
Glowy skin is very much in. Everyone raves about the Becca Champagne Pop highlighter, but this Lorac highlight needs some major credit. I’ve been using a bareMinerals eye shadow as a highlight for awhile now and it’s been great, but I wanted to branch out and try an actual highlighter. I stumbled upon this Lorac highlight, swatched it on my hand, and instantly fell in love. It’s such a smooth formula and it’s incredibly pigmented. It’s not “glittery” either, which is terrible in my opinion. If I never used another highlighter in my life, I wouldn’t be upset about it. It’s online here or at Ulta for $22. A little goes a long way so it’s worth the price in my book.
