It wasn’t until a few months ago that I started incorporating rosewater into my everyday routine. I had been reading rave reviews about it all over the internet so I decided to see what the fuss was all about. And I am so glad I did.
No matter what skin type you have, here’s 3 reasons why you should highly consider adding rosewater into your daily routine.
It’s Hydrating and Calming
Since it’s officially fall, it’s starting to cool down. And what does colder weather bring about? Dry skin. THE WORST. Rosewater will soothe any redness and irritation on the skin. Heavy astringents can sometimes make inflammation worse, but rosewater is light enough and still does the trick. Also, it’s naturally hydrating, too. I am ALL about keeping my skin hydrated and dewy.
It’s Contains Anti-Bacterial Properties
Like I said above, it helps calm the skin and any irritations. Because it helps fight bacteria, a rosewater-based toner helps keep any acne from spreading. For years I thought about treating the acne in the exact spot of the flare up, but never realized how important it was to treat the rest of the face so the acne doesn’t spread.
It’s An Instant Skin Refresher
Every morning right after I cleanse my face, I spritz this rosewater toner all over my face and then press it in with a cotton round. I swear it totally wakes up my sleepy skin. Plus when you add that with this AM water trick courtesy of Cameron Diaz, you might even consider yourself a morning person. I can’t make this stuff up.
The Botanics Organic Rosewater Toning Spritz is what I’ve been using the past several months and so far I am a huge fan.
It’s super affordable at a whopping $8.39 for a 5 oz bottle. To put it into perspective, I have used this everyday since June and I still have over ¼ of the bottle left. How can you say no to cheap amazing beauty products? You can pick it up at Target or Ulta, or buy it online here!
