Bonjour, mes amours! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve done a new post. Sometimes you just need to take a little time to yourself, ya know?
While I’ve been gone I’ve been trying tons of new products (per usual) and I HAVE to share with you guys. For one, my skin is finally starting to bounce back from the crazy hormonal acne I was dealing with. If you guys remember, I did that sugar detox which helped a lot. However I needed some actual products to get rid of that heinous scarring, ugh.
Everyone has been complaining about how shitty their 2017 is going and blah blah blah. I won’t lie, my 2017 has been great so far! It’s all about attitude. I’ve laid out my New Year’s Resolutions (it’s still not too late to write some up) and have been sticking to most of them I’d say. I highly encourage you to write some up because when you do see what you’ve accomplished at the end of the year, it’s SO empowering, for real.
Without further ado, here are some of my top 3 February beauty favorites that I am OBSESSED with.
So I talked about this soap in a different scent for healing my favorite piercing to-date. I finally don’t need the baby-mild version of the soap, so I decided to try the hemp rose scent and I am in love. It’s not a typical rose scent – it’s not so grandma floral-y. There’s a sweetness to it that is heavenly. Another plus besides smelling amazing is that it lasts FOREVER.
This is probably my number one favorite. Shoutout to my best friend, Meghan (she’s the one in my YouTube video), for turning me onto this stuff. Within the past month of using this religiously, I have seen incredible results with my skin. My acne-scarring has diminished immensely and even helps heal any new acne issues that I’ve had arise. This treatment accelerates cell turnover which is super important in keeping your skin looking vibrant and healthy. After you’ve washed your face at night, you’ll put one pump of this onto the face. Once all soaked in, then apply your moisturizer on top. It’s on the pricier side, but 1000% worth it in my opinion.
Again, shoutout to Meg for convincing me to try this out too. I’ve been playing around with different cleansers for several months now and haven’t been able to settle on one that I really loved. HOWEVER, I think I found ~*the one*~. First, the scent is really nice which is actually more important to me than I thought it would be. It does a great job at removing makeup as well. I rarely have to go over with a micellar water to remove any remaining makeup. And the packaging…adorable. It’s very aesthetically pleasing lol. FOR ANYONE WITH SENSITIVE SKIN, I highly recommend this cleanser.
Have you guys tried any of these? Let me know in the comments below!
